弊社が主催する「第6回 International Health & Care Collaboration (IHCC) 2019 」(旧JSIP) が、8月24日に開催されました。

毎年、数多くの在星医療従事者の方々にご参加頂くJSIP。今年はより幅広くプラットフォームとしてのすそ野を広げ、IHCCとして開催。「Social Inclusion And Empowering The Population」をテーマに、ヘルスケア・高齢者ケアサービスに対する需要の高まりに対処し、ソーシャルインクルージョンの視点を持ってどう対応しているのか、スピーカーの方々にお話頂きました。

プライマリおよびコミュニティケアセクターで担う重要な役割について、各国の取り組み、また各団体・病院・大学の取り組みを聞くことが出来ました。

2013年から始まったこの取り組みは、世界中の高齢者を取り巻く医療の課題に対し、新しいアイデアと洞察をシンガポール、日本の両国でシェアし、よりよい医療を学び、考えるという目的の元、スタートしました。毎年、テーマを変えながらも「高齢化」する社会の中でも「より良い社会の実現」を目指し、学び・知見をシェアしていくという大前提の元、毎年数多くの熱意のある各国の医療従事者の方々に支えられながら実施しております。

また来年以降はさらに大きな展開になることが決まっています。シンガポール、日本、フィンランドなどご参加頂く各国の皆様と共に、社会にとってよりよい医療・ヘルスケアとは何なのかを考えながら、IHCC事務局一同、医療の現場に携わる皆様と一緒に学びを深めていければと考えています。

The 6th International Health & Care Collaboration (IHCC) was successfully held on the 24th August 2019!

Close to 400 medical and healthcare professionals will join the annual IHCC Symposium & Exhibition to hear from experts on how social inclusion will play an important role in primary and community care sectors, as our country grapples with the growing demand for healthcare and aged care services. Mr Tan Kwang Cheak, CEO of Agency for Integrated Care, was Guest-of-Honour at the event.

Healthcare professionals from Japan and Singapore have been in partnership for this conference since 2013, which was first conceived to bring together new ideas and insights that will help to tackle the healthcare challenges surrounding an ageing population. Representatives from Finland and Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, who specialise in Gerontology including gerontological nursing presented insights into changing healthcare landscape of both countries, while other speakers discussed the various themes surrounding social inclusion including digitalization and incorporating social inclusion teachings to healthcare workers.

Some highlights of the exhibition include: A test designed for the early discovery of diseases such as cancer or Alzheimer type dementia and detecting disease-specific factors released from each organ simply by taking a blood sample; foods and low-protein dietary-related therapies aimed at addressing concerns pertaining to the treatment of chronic kidney diseases, allowing for a higher biological value and balanced intake of protein and calories.
