京都で大人気の%ARABICA！ついにシンガポール初上陸！計3店舗オープン！ [HARAPECO BLOG]

The famous coffee shop that originated from Kyoto has finally opened its doors in Singapore! Did you know? The renowned “%” symbol actually represents 2 coffee cherries on a branch! Interesting much! After many months of anticipation and waiting, the first outlet has finally opened in Arab Street (Such a perfect location for Arabica!). 2 other outlets are slated to open at Holland Village and 313 Somerset.

京都からはじまった有名なコーヒーショップ「%ARABICA」がついにシンガポールにオープン！

お店の名前に入っている「％」マーク…。
実はこれ、「%ARABICA」で展開している２つのビーンズを表現しているそうです！
面白い発想ですね。

1号店はアラブストリートに、そして続く2・３号店は、ホランドヴィレッジとサマセットのショッピングモール「313 Somerset」に誕生する予定だそうです。

Arab Street

I headed down at 8am in the morning and there was already a queue! Upon entering, we immediately fell in love with the minimalist, simple interiors with their famous “%” symbol plastered everywhere. I placed my orders and managed to get our coffee in about 10mins. Pretty quick despite the growing queue!
Singaporeans definitely love their coffee and it seems that the %Arabica brand needs no introduction. I heard a few commenting on how they have tried the various %Arabica outlets in other countries. %Arabica is renowned for their coffee beans, which they harvest from their own coffee farms in Hawaii and acquire from other overseas plantations depending on the season.

朝の8時にお店へ向かったのですが、すでに行列ができていました！
店内に入ると、いたるところに「％」のマークが施されていて、シンプルでミニマルな内装に惚れ惚れしてしまいました。

次から次へと列に並ぶ人が増えていくにもかかわらず、注文してから10分ほどでコーヒーを手に入れることができました。並ぶのが嫌いな方でも安心ですね（笑）

％Arabicaが有名なワケは、使用しているコーヒー豆。彼らは所有しているハワイのコーヒー農園でコーヒー豆を栽培・収穫したものと、季節に応じて海外の農場から仕入れているものを取り揃えています。

I ordered their famed Spanish Latte ($7.80) and Matcha Latte ($8.60). Gave in to temptation and ordered an iced Matcha Latte ($9.60) as well. I felt that the prices were rather steep but upon taking our first mouthful, I was immediately won over by the fresh aroma and robust flavours. In particular, the matcha latte, was well balanced in terms of sweetness and left a delightful aftertaste on the palette. I thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and would definitely return for another.

私は％Arabicaで有名な「スパニッシュラテ（$7.80）」と「抹茶ラテ（$8.60）」をいただきました。あと、誘惑に負けて「アイス抹茶ラテ（$9.60）」も。

さいしょは結構いい値段するな～と思っていましたが、ひと口飲んでみてびっくり！

芳醇なコーヒーの香りと味が瞬く間に口の中に広がり、高値の価値ありの逸品だと納得しました。とくに「抹茶ラテ」は、甘さと抹茶特有の後味が絶妙なバランスで構成されていて、とっても素晴らしかったです。

また『通いたくなる場所』がひとつ増えちゃいました。
